SHES got personality, This shop is boiling over with sass and personality! Its like the artist has schmeared herself all over the shop and you cant help but get it on you! WOW!! Its great to see so much of some one just in the art they create!

From the Artist:

"I have always been an artist. I have always drawn, cut, pasted, painted, collected, sewn, written and dreamed. I have been driven by the question, “What if?” (and fighting against its archenemy, “That won’t work!”)

I also wear many other hats. Among other things, I am a sign language interpreter, an energy worker, a minister, a blogger, a wife to a wonderful and creative man, and a mother to two wild and amazing little girls. All of these roles shape and change and inform my art.

I am a 5th generation Oregonian. This lush and verdant environment is in my blood. I grew up in a valley surrounded by tree-covered hills and blessed with a great deal of rain. I memorized the names of flowers as a child. I picked basketsful of mushrooms in the damp woods and studied moss and built forts inside of blackberry thickets. After traveling the United States, I can’t imagine living anywhere else.

My work has appeared on the cover of the 2005 Quilting Arts Calender, in Artella Magazine, Art/Quilt Magazine, Fiberarts Design Book 6, as well as many juried shows.

As a jewelry artisan on etsy I know how hard it can be to prove to a buyer that you are truly unique. This artisan is a prime example, this is one seller who can stand out above the rest for her unique items and style. There is definitely a passion that shines through in each of her pieces.

About the artist:

"My name is: a title used to facilitate communication.
My home is: a little slice of paradise despite the paper-thin walls and windows.
My goal is: to make macrame fashionable.
My soul is: owned by a thieving kitty.
My dreams are: not all that unrealistic, and involve comfort instead of riches.
My life is: meant to be enjoyed to the fullest.

An-G is one of Aly's best friends, who is a wonderful seamstress and enjoys sewing in her free time, when she isn't being a vet :).

A LITTLE ABOUT US

I was born and raised in a home of artists. My mother a painter, and my father a photographer.
As kids we always were doing some sort of "project". This has continued for me thoughout my life, dipping my hands in all sorts of creative "projects". I found my nitch in sewing. I LOVE creating different things. I picture it in my mind and then it becomes...it is my "gift" I suppose. And I enjoy working with the different fibers to see what can be done with them.
I mostly stay at home and mother our 2 wonderful and beautiful children (9 and 2), my husband and best friend, our 3 dogs and a cat, and our beautiful land. This keeps me busy, as I'm sure you can imagine, but I try to sew on a daily basis, even if it's only 15 minutes. I have been making clothes for many, many years (15 to be exact). I first started when I was 15 and made a patchwork skirt by hand for a show I was going to. As I got older I bought a sewing machine and began making clothes to support my traveling and music habit. I have traveled all over the country selling my clothes at all the wonderful shows and festivals. I miss that sometimes but am so blessed to have my 2 wonderful and beautiful children. When my son got older I started working in the film buisness...helping design sets and such. This was wonderful and fun work, but I truly missed being home. My daughter was born 2 years ago, and with the help of my wonderful and supportive husband, I started to stay home again. I knew we needed the extra income though....so here I am...trying to learn my way around the internet highway.
I am so very thankful to have this opportunity to be able to watch my children grow!!! We enjoy our land and our organic gardens. Hiking, fishing, swimming, playing, camping, fires, drum circles and a show when we can catch one. My husband is a carpenter and loves working with his hands and building wonderful things!

An-G is living in Columbus, where she just graduated from vet school(WHOOHOOO!!!). She is currently engaged to be married next summer! :)
She has been sewing a long time as well, learning some from her mother and some from herself! More to come on An-G. :)

Thanks to all of you whom support us stay at home mamas and independent artists!!!! And thank you for helping our dream become reality! We truly appreciate all the support! :D"

From the artist:
"I grew up in Baltimore, but am now living in Greenville, NC. My mom got me into arts and crafts when I was really little (I wanted to help her paint ceramics when I was a baby, so she'd give me a paintbrush, a cup of water, and a rubber ducky. Took me awhile to figure out that it's supposed to change colors when you paint it though!). Ever since then I've loved to draw and create things.

Now, I love doing art, crocheting, and am getting into making ACEO cards and sewing. I've been crocheting and drawing for years. I also love to make button pins. I tend to go on what I like to call "craft binges", where I'll make a whole bunch of a certain thing, so if you see long stretches of buttons or crocheted items in my listings, you'll know I've been on one!

My hobbies when I'm not creating things are watching anime, playing tabletop role-playing games (Dungeons and Dragons; Big Eyes, Small Mouth; D20 Modern, West End Games' D6 System, etc), building web-pages, and playing on GaiaOnline[dot]com. I also have a gallery on DeviantArt and Flickr, both of which you can find with the user name lizstaley as well.

I find that I really enjoy blogging about My crafts as well! You can visit my blog at http://livewirechick.blogspot.com

In addition, I also write and illustrate a story that I publish to the web, and have been working on since I was a senior in high school. It's gone through many, many versions and updates, and I'm eventually thinking about having it published. You can check that out at http://www.oap-studios.com/akaryuu

"Established in 2005, the Sweet Irie name came
about from the newest addition to my family; my kitten, Irie. Her name means, supreme joy; quite fitting! She is the light of my life and the inspiration for my jewelry, as she likes to help me work! Although I have to admit, she isn't much help! She loved to play with the jewelry and balls of hemp I once used; stringing it all over the house. Needless to say, she now has her own stash of 'toys' lying around. Just as well, I have since moved on from making hemp jewelry and create the beautiful handmade beaded designs you will see throughout this store. I do hope you enjoy!"

Hello! My name is Lauren, I'm 25 years old, and I create all of the crafts for sale in the Lost Mitten Etsy Shop. I'm currently living in Brantford, Ontario, Canada with my fiance, Paul. My personal website is: lostmitten.org and my blog is located at: http://blog.lostmitten.org

I have been creating handcrafted items for my Etsy shop, Lost Mitten, since September 2006. In addition to video games, I love to knit and crochet! I also love to create journals and other paper goods, as well as needlepoint, acrylic felt creations, pinback buttons, and jewelry.

FAQ

* Who makes the stuff in your shop?
- Everything in my shop is handmade with the exception of prints. The paintings and photographs are original by me but I send a .pdf file to my printer for the prints.

* Will you tell me how you make your stuff?
- Maybe. If you ask nicely I'll give you basic pointers on the medium, maybe even a quick tutorial.

* You charge too much!
- I put a lot of love and hard work into my items. I've spent money on equipment and lots of personal time into learning the techniques and styles I use.
I charge enough to cover material costs and the time I put into each hand-crafted item. Please respect that and pay the fair amount for an item you enjoy.

* I'm a jewelry designer and I love the beads/pendants/etc you used in this. Can I just buy the beads/pendants/etc.?
- Of course! Just convo me and we'll work it out. I'd love to the awesome things you create."

Lazy Cat Gifts-Artisan crochet bead jewelry & fiber art

This shop brings two very different mediums and morphs them together crochet and jewelry making...I can see in some of her pieces the intricacy of wire knotting, this in and of itself is no easy task it is daunting and painful to the fingers...and I am just talking about average wire work, this is something completely different. Wire is an unforgiving medium in the first place then to try to crochet it, wow I have a lot of admiration for this artist! I consider myself a very traditional jewelry maker in my style and technique, its artists like these that give hand made jewelry or anything hand made a step above any store bought item there is!

From the Artist:

"Lazy Cat Gifts was created by three friends in Ann Arbor, MI. Two of them were in medical school at the University of Michigan and the third worked in a laboratory there. All of us had grandmothers who crocheted, however Kelly had the most experience.

After honing our skills for several years making many gifts for many family members and friends, we decided to try to sell some of our creations! We had a good start at a local craft show and found Etsy.com while searching for a gentle way to beginning selling online. (Plus, Etsy comes with the bonus of a great community of artists!) Etsy is also great for us, because Kelly has moved to Philadelphia, while Allison and Stasia still live in Ann Arbor. However, we keep in touch every day! And, we are all so excited Kelly is moving back to Ann Arbor in June!

We enjoy using the skills from our grandmothers to create wonderfully hip and modern pieces. We crochet in both yarn and wire, creating artisan crochet bead jewelry, scarves, hats, etc. We are constantly looking for ways to expand crochet, and we love making custom items!

We are updating our store all the time, so please check back often to see what new goodies have appeared!

Additionally, our Boutique line of jewelry is currently available at Suwanee Springs at 306 S. Main St. in Ann Arbor, MI. Please stop in to see these exclusive pieces!

In the past, we have featured Kelly's mom's items in "Ruth Ellen's Creations" as she is unable to make her own website. Hopefully her beautiful quilts and tasty dog treats will return soon.

BOLD, stylish, traditional not words one normally hears when describing art they are either one or the other...well welcome to DreamON A bold, stylish, and traditional art shop on etsy. I am reminded of a brighter Norman Rockwell calendar! More color! Thats what the world needs now and this shop has it in bounds! From abstracts to pop art, or note cards to collages this is one talented artist!

From the artist:

"I always loved to cut, paste, paint and draw from my earliest memories. Creating art is what I do, it's built-in by my creator, He enables me, and I love it.

My college degree is in art. In addition I have taken workshops and classes from some fine national and regionally-known artists. Some of my most important lessons came from not so well-known, but wonderful artists who now paint in the sky, and local artists who teach the basics, as well as the artists I paint with. I belong to several art groups in Florida and one in Colorado.

I value the presence of a recognizable subject in my paintings. I love it when the center of interest appears in the midst of background objects that aren’t so well-defined. I want watercolor to look like watercolor, and I want my paintings to have a painterly look, not a photographic copy. Therefore I am an impressionist, because I don’t want to over-control the media.

I love to paint using a variety of techniques. Having taken an experimental art class for the last 4-5 years, I am likely to paint anything, and I'm always "playing.""

Catldy99 or Cats Paw Artifacts by Judy Richards, this shop is chock full of amazing hand crafted lamp work beads. These beads are amazing rich in color and absolutely stunning. With lamp work beads you are sure to fine an absolutely unique bead to make ANY piece a stunning and one of a kind treasure. I am awe inspired by this artists ability to make glass to what ever she wants it to do. This is a medium that I would love to learn but I don't think i could ever create the amazing works that this artist does! On top of her amazing beads this artist also uses her beads to make some dazzling jewelry! Make sure you look through this shop!

From the artist:

"B.A. University of Minnesota Magna Cum Laude in Technical Theatre
Coursework in Graphic Design at the Academy of Art College in San Francisco, CA
Coursework in lamp working - Portland, OR
Member of the International Society of Glass Bead makers
seller on eBay for 5 years - over 500-100% positive feedback

Judy Richards resides in Portland, Oregon where it rains this time of year. A well kept secret is that it doesn't rain all year around.

Judy is a member of the Portland Bead Society, the ORBS (Oregon Regional Bead makers Society) and the ISGB (International Society of Glass Bead makers).

Judy makes lamp work beads and designs jewelry - unique and hopefully artful jewelry. She is always striving for new ideas, new shapes in glass.

Judy is inspired by nature (flowers, birds) depicted in glass. She loves abstract lamp work most of all with layers of glass and complexity. She is always striving to that goal.

She has done the work of reasonably exact glass beads - but yearns to break out of that toward something more complex and deep in an artistic sense. She also has a sense of humor and doesn't take herself too seriously - she is the owner of 2 cats, hence the cat beads. Judy likes to laugh and make others smile with her work.

Judy's dream buyer is the Sundance catalog.

Probably the best things she has made are jewelry with her own lamp work beads and semi precious stones that have sold there are really pushing the envelope of what we think of as jewelry and adornment."

I studied art in college and have a Masters Degree in Painting and Drawing. My artwork has been shown in galleries and museums in my region. My day job is working as a pre-press graphic artist for a printing company and I make my art in my "spare time".
Since I was a kid I have always drawn pictures and painted. I like the freedom of expression of art and have always enjoyed painting.

ELEGANT!! Oh my goodness! These are some amazing works! Whether you want to make a BOLD statement or a delicate finishing tough this Jewelry shop will have something for EVERYTHING!! and Everyone! They are awe inspiring and absolutely stunning. I personally love the photography of the pieces! It is truly amazing how much detail is being shown! Read her Profile below I sure had a great time reading all about her!

From the artist:

"Hi my name is Susan and I'm the creator of cserpentDesigns! My husband nicknamed me Sea Serpent during our scuba diving days (picture a tall person in a purple and black drysuit with a pink floatation vest coming out of the water with big black fins on her feet ... yep sea serpent fits!). He even got me a sea serpent stamp to use for my "signature" on my hand made cards.

I got started in jewelry making when one of my soccer teammates got me to go to a wirewrapping class with her. I made my first bracelet in that class (and as I look at it now I want to take it apart and redo it to look a lot nicer!). I then saw a beaded watch band in a magazine and figured I could expand on that idea and make myself a cool beaded watch band in PURPLE! (my favorite color). I started the watch band using gold plated findings, finished it up at another wire wrapping class and got interest from many of my friends and family in having jewelry made for them. I still was just dabbling and got really mad when the gold plated findings started to tarnish in a very short amount of time. From that I learned my lesson about making things that last - don't make them with gold or silver plated parts if you want them to last a long time and remain beautiful!

That 2nd wire wrapping class really drove my interest in making jewelry with beads. I took more classes in basic jewelry making (stringing, knotting, ...) and have been making jewelry for family and friends and other customers for 4 years now. My jewelry designs are also for sale at a gallery in La Jolla, CA - Art in 18K - so I'm starting to expand my sales base.

I have a great time buying the parts needed to make my jewelry. I REALLY like the gorgeous artisan lampwork beads that are available through etsy as well as other online sites. My "inventory" is quite large so I really have to get designing more so I can share these beautiful beads with others. Sometimes I'll find one interesting bead or gemstone and that will be the kick start for a piece of jewelry. I really enjoy the creation process and get excited when I finish a piece and can share it with folks I know and with Etsy I can now share my creations with a much larger family.

I'm a member of several Etsy street teams. I'm a member of CCCOE (California Crafters Club on Etsy), JET (Jewelry on Etsy), etsyBEAD (bead lovers of all sorts), BeadHive (started on Ebay and has now joined Etsy a group of jewelry artisans who all use high quality components to create artisan quality jewelry) and TBO (Tranquil Beading Oasis). In these groups we share ideas, provide support to one other, teach and learn all in the name of continuing are respective handmade crafts.

My mom enjoys buying beads as well, a little too well if you ask me. Since she won't stop buying them I told her she'll have to start making jewelry for sale with some of the many beads she's purchased (and which I "store"). She has made many jewelry pieces for herself, family and friends but she buys way more beads than she has used in these designs. So my bead bins overfloweth and mom has to help clear them out by making designs to sell."

And here we are again with another jewelry artist who has MUCH more patience than I do! I love how the wire wrapped pieces look when finished but what a daunting task to get that wire to sit right where you want it to be! Not to mention how many calluses one can create just wrapping one piece of jewelry! So again my hats off to these amazing artists with so much patience and pride in their craft! You can see each piece is so delicately handled and made with such precision. Ah if I could just watch her work once it would be an amazing experience!

From the words of the Artist:

"I was born and partially raised in NB Canada, I fell in love at the tender age of eight when as a christmas gift my grandparents gave me a large beading kit from then on I was always making some form of jewelry or another. I still very much love making jewelry the only thing thats changed is my range of materials from plastic stretch cord and plastic pony beads to sterling silver and precious stones. Recently I have realized as an artist you cant completely limit your materials and be happy for to long and I have many ideas for fresh and unique designs using a variety of materials. Each piece of Jewelry I make is an extension of myself to you, there's no mass produced here just pieces that are as unique and special as you are."

From her profile!
Hi, I’m Phyllis Mufson, a jewelry artisan and a creative career and small business coach. I started making jewelry while directing the Locks Career Center at Moore College of Art & Design, an inspiring environment where I worked with wonderfully creative people.

Now I work in my sunny living room where I talk with clients and have all of my jewelry equipment close at hand. My design inspiration is my 23-story “bead condo” – clear, stacking sectioned boxes brimming with color-coordinated gold and silver, gemstones and pearls.

Earlier in my life I was a textile artist and that sensibility influences my designs. I'm concerned with how the jewelry drapes and moves with the body. I'm also inspired by my customers. In addition to my ETSY stores I sell through private jewelry shows so I get to see how women respond to the jewelry. I talk with them about what interests them, and find out which designs are particularly flattering to wear.

If you like Personal Treasures but are looking for something more simple or casual please visit my Mufi Jewels store at http://mufi.etsy.com.

Another artist feature Cryztalvisions - This shop is so amazing each item is so earthy! Everything is so natural and beautiful! You can see the care she takes in each item is displayed beautifully in each piece! I also loved reading her profile it seems she is a very multitalented artist!

From her profile -

I have been fascinated by crystals and stones for as long as I can remember. I had some wonderful teachers during my childhood who passed on their passion for nature, geology, crystals and gemstones. I come from a long line of artistic souls on my father's side of the family. My great grandmother was a very talented artist who started painting late in life. She left behind some amazing oil paintings that I will always treasure. She also painted and fired china, she had a fantastic eye for detail and could paint tiny pictures small enough to fit on a thimble. My father was an accomplished, well rounded artist and crafts person and spent many years teaching art in the public school system.

I've been creating unique pieces of jewelry for almost 20 years now, and I'm still excited by the process. I have an insatiable appetite for learning new techniques that push the boundaries of my creativity. Along the way I have also been drawn to studying and practicing various energy healing arts, like Reiki, chakra balancing, Earth based energy medicine, shamanic practices, and Angel Therapy. I have found combining my love of minerals, my artistic eye and skill in jewelry fabrication and design, along with my heightened sensitivity to energies creates a powerful synergy. I love to immerse myself in the creative process and I'm fascinated when some pieces seem to magically design themselves. I am pleased to share my passion with you here.

I delight in creating these pieces! Each one is unique, with its own energy that I feel as I work with the materials. They transport me to a place of deep knowing, relaxation and happiness as I work. My pieces not only look wonderful when worn, but also carry with them the special healing energies of each gemstone or crystal. My work is a constant exploration of the interconnectedness of all life.

It is my hope that you will find a very special piece that speaks to your heart.

What's with the "Z" in Cryztalvisions? You may ask. It's an homage to one of my wonderful teachers who pronounced crystals: "creezzztals"

Thanks for taking an interest in my shop! My name is Toni and I am the mother of two wonderful little twin girls!

Yes, I live way up North where it gets VERY cold in the winter...-50 degrees F! (And yes, there really is a place called North Pole! It is about 10 miles from Fairbanks, AK.) The winters do get long, but it is absolutely breath taking up here in Alaska! The summer days are amazing with such long days!

I am most famous for being "Mommy" to my 15 month of twin daughters! I never knew I had so much love in me until I became a mother! They are my so precious!

And they are the inspiration for KuddleBugz Threadz! With the need in Fairbanks for warm baby items, I felt a tug at my heart to use my talents to help other mom's! Tori and Trista inspired the name "KuddleBugz", they are truly my little kuddlebugz!

Keep your little ones warm and cozy this winter with a beautiful Infant Car Seat Cover! For those tiny toes pick up a pair of warm and cozy booties! Don't have a NEW Baby? How about new hat or pair of mittens for that Toddler in your life?

OMG I cannot say enough about these beautiful paintings and prints! This is one amazing artist Each piece speaks to me! I cant stop looking at them the ones shes sold the ones in her banner! There are so many I would love to have in my home! I have watched the videos on you tube on how each work is created and WOW!! This is one talented lady!!
http://www.youtube.com/pinsall

From her profile

Like many other artists, Paulette has been creative from a very young age. From making knotted bracelets and hair accessories as a child to taking photos for her high school year book when she was older. She never thought of herself as an artist until a few years ago. For many years she dreamed of painting, but could never bring herself to pick up a paint brush until October of 2006. That's when her love of creating stories with paint and paper began.

These days when she’s not busy entertaining her very busy four year old son, you will find her stealing any moment she can in her home studio pouring her thoughts and emotions out into the visual stories she creates through her art.

ARTIST STATEMENT

My art is about the search for connection…to self, to like minded spirits, to family, and to God. Most of my work depicts a sole woman because these are the stories of my own personal search and the emotions they invoke within my soul. My hope is that the visual stories I create with my art touch people from all walks of life and let them know that they are not alone…and find comfort in that knowing.

And for the next feature of the day Elektra Jewelry. This fabulous Jewelry Artisan her works are eclectic, modern and classy. While still attaining a certain level of vintage feel to them. Each piece is made with high quality material, patience and a love for her art. You can truly see the care that goes into each of these pieces.

From her Profile

I am a newcomer to Etsy. I have loved jewelry and gemstones all my life. My travels to Greece and Greek background have influenced my love of 18k and 24k gold and my choice to work with gold vermeil.(24k over sterling silver) I make one of a kind jewelry pieces to accommodate many different styles and fashion trends.
Although I began working with stones over 10 years ago, the demands of a full time teaching job and childcare did not allow me the time to follow this passion. Finally, the timing seemed right and I have started creating and selling my pieces. Now that I have started a business, I devote most of my time and energy into creating pieces that can be worn and enjoyed for years to come.
I work primarily with gold vermeil, Bali sterling silver,semi-precious stones and vintage glass beads. Please be on the lookout for new pieces in my Murano Collection. The colors of these beautful Venetian beads are so exceptional, they add another dimension to my jewelry.

Hi! From Sydney, Australia!!

I have been creating jewellery since early 2004. It quickly became a passion which helped fill the time while caring for my mum who has MS.

Jewellery then lead me to the wonderful world of lampwork beads. Yet another way to play with colours. It's such a thrill to play with molten glass watching it flow and form beautiful objects.

I also spend my time designing business cards, etc for other jewellery designers. If you'd like to check them out, you can find my designs at: www.annedundas.com/graphics

Adornments By BJ
is an amazing jewelry shop with some amazing unique features. Take the piece pictured at left It is one of her chinese knot series Necklaces she describes it as -
"This is fourth in my Chinese Knotted Jewelry Series and as much of a challenge as the three before!

This necklace is a long piece and begins with a navy blue and light gold silk cord double Prosperity Knot with a decorative bronze earring with four bronze daggers dangling from the loops. The two cords on each side of the knot then split to form each side of the necklace. A large 10x10mm bronze designed barrel attaches then travels up to another single knot Prosperity Knot, then the silk cord travels up to a connection knot, two decorative 12mm bronze disks, another connection knot and then another single cord Prosperity Knot, continuing to another connection knot before it ends with a cord silvertone hook clasp. The matching earrings contain a bronze dagger with a beaded drop, hooked to a bronze french earwire."

Etsy Store Featured Artist: A Rose By Name

A Rose By Name is another shop that I am absolutely amazed by! This Jewelry artisan again has some amazing attention to detail and some incredible patience! These again are seed beads the smallest beads you can work with! I myself find very little patience in working with these intricate beads.

The item pictured Left is called Blue Moon - Tealight Candle Holder. All I Can Say about it is WOW!!!! She describes it as -
"his playful looking, 2 1/2" glass votive holder is completely encased in peyote stitched Delica beads. The pattern is my original design. I've always loved the deep cobalt blue and these beads really glow when a tea light is burning in this candle holder.

These votive holders take many days to create as every bead is individually stitched into my own original patterns. There are well over 4,000 beads in each piece."

From her Profile -
"I am a self-employed wife and mother of two teenage daughters. I enjoy beading and find that it is my therapy for stress!

My daughters and I first tried beading many years ago. Over the years, the beads have gotten smaller and the designs more intricate. Although my girls no longer bead, they enjoy wearing the pieces that I have created.

My youngest creates cards. She thoroughly enjoys creating the original greeting cards that you will find here in my shop. She will also create custom cards...just let us know your preferences!"

Etsy Store Featured Artist: Yaslani

Yaslani: An artist and unique. Items are colorful and retro! Great shop!

The item to the left is called Moonlight, she describes it as:

"This 4x4 mixed media canvas is made with a hand painted wooden elephant and layers of paint, paper and modeling paste. I sprayed it with a non-yellowing varnish so it will be beautiful for many many years!"

From her Profile:
"I was born and raised on the Jersey Shore and then moved to Los Angeles where I studied Fine Art -Painting at Otis Art Institute. Before long I found myself back in New Jersey where I detoured from art for a while and settled into a normal life fully stocked with a corporate job. Turns out normal isn’t for me. Making things is an addiction. A packrat by nature, I believe all items have a second life and I love using recycled items and supplies that are gentle to the environment.

My work consists of bamboo pendants and mixed media paintings. I use found objects, bamboo, ephemera, old paper, acrylic, goauche, pencils, pens, ink, glitter… and anything else within my grasp. I’m influenced by pop culture, color, music, animals, fashion, movies, magazines and too many artists to mention. There are no heavy messages in my work. I consider my art to be an aesthetic conversation. A lovely chat between friends sometimes relaying a story or an inside joke. The only judgement I make with my art is “am I feeling this or not.” The “not” pile gets recycled for another day.

Yaslani is the brainchild for all my creative outlets. There is so much more I plan to do. There are so many more beautiful conversations I plan to have and I’m still planning my escape from normal. Stay tuned."

This shop is gorgeous and has a very broad spectrum of jewelry styles there is something for everyone. The item pictured at left is:
Black crystal wire crochet necklace; her description of this item:
"This beautiful necklace is made by crocheting delicate wire and black glass crystals. It has a lobster clasp closure, and measures about 18 inches. You can have it in any length you need, however. Just tell me the length you need in the special instructions section when making payment.

This necklace is very light, and looks delicate, but is very strong and comfortable to wear. It really dresses up and adds sparkle to any outfit, and would be great for holiday parties. "

From her Profile:

"I've had a love for crafts, especially crochet for over 25 years ever since my grandmother taught me at age 5. It was probably the best thing she could have done for my parents because it would keep me busy for hours. During college, i developed a love for beads--not just because they're sparkly, but because beads have such a rich history to them from around the world, and can be made from almost anything imaginable. Also, as an occupational therapist, I am able to use a variety of crafts and activities in my therapy to make it more fun!

I combined my love for crochet and beads and began making jewelry, baby onesies, hats, and all sorts of gift items about 10 years ago. "Sparkly Strandz" is an online store that you can visit and create your own jewelry by choosing the right color bead, wire, and length you want for that perfect piece!!

OH MY GOODNESS....One cannot begin to use words to describe the lovely works in Tiffany Teske's Shop! They are so lovely and so risque with a vintage charm about them! I cant stop looking at them!
The item at the left is "A Journey for Many Souls" It is an Original Polaroid Image Transfer in 8x10 Archival Mat, Her professional and very technical description!
"To begin this unique photographic art I capture an image on slide film. The slide is then projected onto Polaroid pack film which is peeled prematurely. The “waste” side of the film pack, which contains processing chemicals, is then placed face down onto wet watercolour paper and brayed (rolled over with a print making brayer). The result is a one-of-a-kind hand-pulled photographic transfer of the original slide image. The original image can be transferred an unlimited number of times but the resulting transfer will always vary from the last. Each transfer is approximately 3 ½” by 4” in size and is hand signed (both on the image and the mat). This transfer comes with a hand cut, acid free, museum quality archival mat, which has outer dimensions of 8x10.

The first photograph is of the image as it shows through the mat opening. The second image is an example of a matted transfer (it is a generic image so may not match the image in photos 1 and 2). The third image is an example of the matted transfer in a frame (it is a generic image so may not match the image in photos 1 and 2)."
